First attempt to let light into the space with in the book...... Cutting though the binding of a book is a lot harder than you would thing!!!!!

The Begining

I often have no clue where my mind will take me and I'm currently in this ever so familiar predicament. I am given a book and told to create something new through carving.
There are really only two rules:
1)Your design must be relevant to the books topic.
2)DO NOT ADD ANYTHING.

Now these might seem like two simple tasks. not some much. imagine carving a person or scene into a book....THATS DIFFICULT STUFF and i keep walking deeper and deeper into the water... I envision something amazing!!!! We'll see what happens!!!!
